Solid job. But it's a stand-up tripple Gates of Fire is a Grand Slam Outa The Park. Same author.

The Tide Runs Out On Alcibiades

Compelling, detailed and readable account about the great and Incomparable, Athenian Leader, Alcibiades and the Peloponnesian War of the 5th century BC. Pressfield continues to show us that he is both an outstanding researcher and a man of letters without equal.

I felt that the the way the book was writen was disjointed and too heavey onthe combat scenes. It might have been better to have followed one of the characters experiences rather than the three. If the auther had followed a similar format as the Gates of Fire it would have been a better read.
