Very Good. Book is clean and tight. The front cover is not as wide as the text block, the fold is very crisp, so unless it was meant to be that way, I suspect the publisher made a mistake. I have always liked the rumpled look of Benton's people, especially since I have grown to look that way myself.; 4to-over 9¾"-12" tall.

First edition. Large oblong hardcover. 278 pages. Text by Matthew Baigell. Includes 229 illustrations with 101 color plates. An about fair copy with a moisture stain to the top edge of the rear board and with some faint waviness the top of some of the rear pages in a close to near fine copy with some minor soiling to the page edges in an about very good dust jacket with some minor wear and some scratches to the rear panel.
