Mrs. Wurmbrand's personal narrative of Communist persecution of Christians is probably too gentle. Nor is persecution of Christians past tense. Although this book was written in the last third of the 20th century, one need only change names and places to make it current. Nor is Communism (not a dead ideology) the only worldview that hates Christians. Islam is the premier example of a faith that will tolerate no alternative worldview. The West needs to read and reread the testimonies of those who have lived through these horrors.
