A monumental multimedia performance created by sculptor Claes Oldenburg, writer/curator Coosje van Bruggen and architect Frank O. Gehry, and performed in Venice in 1985. The central figure was an eighty-three foot electronically-driven ship in the form of a Swiss army knife, and the performance is marvelously documented here in its entirety, including notes, sketches and photographs of the principals and others playing fictional characters. Fine (w/ single sm spot on bottom edge; slight bump to bottom board), in fine, mylar-protected dust jacket. 8 3/4" X 11 3/8".
