Overall a good to very good copy in bound illustrated wrappers. The author has added a short holographic original poem to the front endpaper and briefly INSCRIBED this copy beneath the poem.

One of 1000 hardcover copies, each with a signed print loosely laid in. Lacking called-for slipcase. Child-like artist's book telling a story with a very limited vocabulary and accompanied by over 90 appropriately simple illustrations from the author/artist. Williams was a key figure in the Fluxus movement. A scarce title in any edition, this the uncommon hardcover issue of the second edition following the 1969 limited edition of 300 copies.

This is copy 67 of 350 numbered copies. Internally bright and clean. Stiff cardboard covers show only minor scuffing and wear at edges. There is a diagonal crease to the front acetate panel. This copy benefits from a very nice INSCRIPTION FROM WILLIAMS TO FELLOW FLUXUS POET JACKSON MAC LOW "to jackson maclow, for sufficient reason. with love: emmett". Inscription is on the inside front cover.
