Very Informative

The book was recommended by my counselor. I found the book to have answers to certain behavior issues.

Those put-downs!

Although this book is good, I still prefer the book, "Men who hate women and the women who love them" by Dr. Forward. The Forward book seemed to delve more deeply into the subject, was more readable or applicable.

What do I deserve in my relationship?

by Vicci on Dec 27, 2007

Find out by reading this book. Healthy relationships make happy people. Sometimes we can't exactly pinpoint what it is about our significant other that makes us feel things aren't just quite the way they should be. Sometimes we can feel confused about issues that are unresolved. Even though this book is about Verbal Abuse, Patricia Evans also paints the picture of what a healthy relationship should look like. This books should be part of sexual education. Why? Because our educational systems have neglected the science of relationships. Parents have neglected to teach their children. Even with the very best of intentions, if you don't have the KNOWLEDGE then you can't impart it. Patricia Evans opens up a world of wisdom and knowledge with her books on Verbal Abuse. It isn't JUST verbal. Her books are so precise, you can become very sharp at identifying any form of abuse in the very first meeting with someone new. Protect yourself, protect your spirit. Protect your daughters! With her books on Verbal Abuse, Patricia states that her goal is to raise the consciousness of people. Once you have read these awesome books it will become one of your goals, too. If you do one thing in this life to save the planet, lift the human spirit, let it be reading this book.
