Bound in gray cloth with blue title to spine, charcoal endpapers, and pictorial jacket with color portrait of Roosevelt, this book over 100 stories from 53 authors [including FDR's own speeches] describing his life and times including Winston Churchill, Eisenhower, Wendell Willkie, Eleanor Roosevelt, Frances Perkins and Robert E. Sherwood. Book is clean, tight and unmarked. Jacket has a 3/4" tear in upper left corner of front cover near spine, a small chip from the upper back jacket edge, and closed tears along the bottom edges front and back. Laid in loose are two reviews, one by Charles Poore of the NY Times dated June 21, 1951, the other by Arthur Schlesinger Jr. both folded, yellowed but untorn news clippings. Media mail included.
