I wanted to try and understand my son more and this has more then done that. My son is high functioning and verbal but without a reference point to start from he is not able to describe how he see the world and why he does things certain ways. As I was reading this book, he picked it up and read a few pages. When asked what his thoughts on it were he proceed to open some his world to me. He was thrilled to be able to say what applied to him and what didn't. We continue to read and talk about this book together. This is great book to read and then reread, each time you pick up a little more understanding.
