Very Good hardcover in Fair dustjacket. Heavy shelfwear to the dustjacket including rubbing and creasing along the lengths of the head and the foot. Further rubbing along the fore-edges. Heavy chipping/tearing to the head of the spine; chipping to the foot of the spine as well as the fore-edge corners. Staining and discoloration to the entirety of the dustjacket. Dustjacket has been covered in MYLAR to prevent further damage. Smudging to the page-ends as well as yellowing/discoloration. Discoloration/foxing to the pastedowns, the endpapers, and scattered throughout. Staining along the foot of the b&w images. Otherwise, pages, text, and b&w images are clean and bright. Overall, an acceptable reading copy. 427 pp.
