This book immediately became one of my prized possessions. It's very, very informative, with pictures and detailed descriptions to help identify pests and diseases, and many helpful solutions. It is put together in a very easy-to-use format, as well -- as its title suggests, in encyclopedia form. Especially helpful is the information on insect cycles and correspondent best planting dates to avoid their most active periods.
I would recommend this book to any serious gardener; in fact, I am planning on ordering several to give as Christmas gifts to some avid gardeners on my list!
