Good. 7.9 x 5.1 x 0.8 inches. Frank Thompson's Corgi Toy Price Guide is an invaluable companion for collectors of the models made by this prestigious and still active firm. Although founded a great deal later than Dinky, the quality of their products soon established Corgi as a leading manufacturer of die cast toys. Windows, sprung suspension and other details gave the models a quality feel which, in latter years, has greatly added to their collectability. For ease of reference the models have been grouped in years of manufacture and in alphabetical order within those years. Details of colour, years of issue and deletion, original price, length and full descriptions of each model are accompanied by the prices that a collector should expect to pay for them. These prices have been graded as Mint and Boxed, Mint Unboxed and Good Condition. Also in the book is information on empty boxes-an increasingly important area of collecting. Frank Thompson has been collecting model toys for over thirty years and was one of the first people to realise their value. He is well known as a radio and television personality and he tours the country with his mobile toy museum, appearing frequently at County Shows and other similar events.
