Acceptable. No dust jacket. Ex-Library No jacket. The front cover shows considerable loss of the original black stain and is very scuffed and worn. There are two deep horizontal lines just below the top of the front cover which extend across its width. There is a small gash-like mark just off-centre on the front cover. There is a large half moon shaped stain on the outer edge of the front cover. There are two stud-like indentations in the bottom left area of the front cover. There is a deep horizontal line just above the lower edge of the front cover which extends across its width. The back cover has lost quite a lot of its original black ink stain and is very scuffed, marked and scratched. There are three strap-like marks on the inside of the back cover which extend across the last page in the book. The black ink has faded down each side of the spine and across its top and bottom. It has also faded around all edges of the front and back covers. The page block is very dirty and heavily discoloured, particularly the head. The spine is coming away slightly from the book on both sides and the binding is very loose throughout. The first page is very yellowed and contains a large rectangular stain, probably denoting a removed library label. The FEP contains a large brown stain, as does the FFE. The book is heavily underlined in pencil throughout. No dust Jacket AF.
