Medieval lady

by LadyBeatrice on Jul 12, 2007

One of the earliest women writers tells the stories of many good women of early history in the form of an allegory where she builds them a city with the assistance of 3 mystical ladies- Reason, Rectitude and Justice. Well worth a read for fans of history as well as true feminists (those who don't hate men). Some of the later stories are drawn directly from the Decameron, others from the Bible. Much of it was new and enlightening to me.
