Walls coming down

by Deborah R on Apr 20, 2012

This book has been such a breath of fresh air! Working my way through the exercises has revealed much to me about myself. In the revelation has come greater freedom. It is unlocking dreams and interests long locked away.

This book works if you work with Cameron and her terrific techniques of sabotaging your blocks and gentling opening your creativity within--even if you've never seen it before--I've even got two friends working it with me--its fun and imaginative

artistic encouragement

by kbaier on Sep 9, 2008

This book is not solely for the visual arts, but anything artistic: music, writing, dancing, or even the enjoyment of these things. It is written by an author who has helped herself as an artist, and then began to help others with creativity block. She has the reader take account of their life and its many influences and adds discernment to areas that cause guilt, shame, and apathy; that are keeping the artist hindered in pursuit of goals and self fulfillment. I think anyone who is struggling in their life can benefit from this book. It is an encouragement for people to practically pursue their hopes, while finding the good things already in their life.

art and spirituality

I haven't finished the book yet, but so far it is a wonderful combination of enjoying the art that we love through our spiritual side, letting go of inhibitions and creating.
