Very good. Small hardcover holiday art book, illustrated by artist Ben Shahn. Published, 1965. Oblong hardcover in dust jacket. No marks or writing in book. The "signed inscription" on the last page is the artist's dedication to his wife Bernanrda Bryson. It is neither an autograph nor an original signature. The jacket has a touch of age, and a couple closed tears that we have repaired with archival tape. Dust jacket is now protected under a clear mylar sleeve.

Non-authorial gift inscription beautifully written in black ink calligraphy at top of front pastedown endpaper. DJ price-clipped and with light rubs at corners and ends of spine panel. Artist Ben Shahn has illus. in B&W and color this lovely old English Christmas carol.
B&W frontispiece. Fine w/fine dustjacket (hardcover) in original mailing envelope. Exceptionally nice copy in the original mailing enveloped which is addressed to Mr. Edwin W. Teale, the famous naturalist, in Hampton, Connecticut.
