This book was such an easy read. I laughed out loud in many parts and can certainly relate to the struggles of weight loss described by the author. I recommend this book to anyone who has ever battled to lose weight and get in shape. You'll probably lose a couple of pounds from laughing!!

Objects in the Mirror
Jen is trying to lose weight and not lose her sanity in the process. What occurs is a self-involved, though often hilarious, detailed memoir of her agonizing trip to being slim. Along the way, she will resort to desperate dieting, denial and exercise...with a woman called Barbie.
The book is slow in the beginning. Jen wastes time (and nearly loses my interest) when she's obsessing about her weight instead of actively doing something about it. However, the book picks up considerable steam when she begins her regime of altered diet and exercise. More remarkably, she maintains her sense of humor throughout and it is that risible quality that makes this book worth reading.
