Fine in Fine jacket. 344 pp. Over 50 ill. 18 maps. Everyone going to Africa to hunt seeks something special. THose going after spiral horned antelope seek something even more. Terry Wieland, as both writer and hunter has done a tremendous amount of research on these extra special hunters who pursue these extra special animals. If you're not "mad keen" about hunting these animals before you read his book, you will be afterwards. One reviewer in Dallas called this "a dream of a book."...using the winning formula of personal experience, travelogue, historical vignette and outstanding research to capture the passion for pursuit ot these game animals. He brings to the fore a group of characters from Burton and Roosevelt to Ruark and Hemingway to craft a ripping good story. Many consider Terry's book as THE work on these game animals. A fine copy in like jacket with an extra author inscription on half title page and a low #34 copy.
