As a 6th generation Texan and descendant of one of he Immortal 32 killed in the Alamo, I really enjoyed the first hand description of life in early day Texas, as well as Mr. Jenkins passing along the experiences of his fellow TEXIANS and neighbors.
It was a Great Read!!!!!!!! I gave a copy to a good friend.
