This is a fantasy novel about a young lad (Poo-Poo) who goes up the fuchsia bush one day and finds a dragon. Horatio the dragon is soon joined by a female dragon and the three have a variety of adventures. It is beautifully written and designed to appeal greatly to children of all ages (but especially those age 6 to 9, or adults, like me, who remember it from their own childhood). It is thoroughly enjoyable and stands the test of time.
