Pojman and Lewis Vaughn have carefully organized the essays so that they present pro/con dialogues that allow students to compare and contrast the philosophers' positions. This is a good textbook for philosophy. It is divided into themes, each theme with at least two text, both positive and negative and sometimes in-between.
The text questions are sometimes a bit unclear but the reflection questions do encourage critical thinking.
