The sharp Ruark eye and pen are at work on the ludicrous and outrageous in the American scene in this humorous tale of summer madness, vacations, and more.
Being a huge Ruark fan I was disappointed in this book. It seems to be a collection of short stories and just doesn't seem to fit his later writing style that I enjoy so much. I'll try and read this one again at a later date...maybe then I can enjoy it more.
