Scott Turow describes the lives of ambitious students struggling to keep pace in an intensely competitive and hard-working environment, and facing the dilemma of ethics versus competition. This reissue contains an epilogue which updates his story. The author was a Stegner Fellow in creative writing at Stanford before attending Harvard Law School.
