Don't plan on getting the most out of it
The first 3 chapters of this book are quite exciting and had me eager to take my strengthsfinder assessment on the internet. However, if you buy the book used then you are out of luck. The rest of the book is based on the findings from your strengthsfinder which is a one time use only kind of thing. You can e-mail & e-mail the authors and they won't even respond to let you know that you're out of luck.

Use Innate Talents to Guide Your Career
If you have ever been in a job that didn't suit you or you have not found the right job, the solution to your career woes is in the book Now, Discover Your Strengths. By using an online survey coupled with clear and practical explanations and profiles of inner talents, you will discover what your top five personal strengths are. This information may or may not be a surprise. Personally, I was surprised that Learning was not identified as a top strength because I am a college professor and dean. However, once I thought deeply about which strengths I do have, learning was indeed the common underpinning. I have recommended this book to four people. They were diverse in age, gender, career development and personalities. Each reported their satisfaction with the information and how this information has focused their career efforts or given it a needed boost! The Gallup poll professionals, two of whom authored this powerful book of self-discovery, have the experience and expertise to back up the validity of this instrument and its results. I can't say enough about it. But, I can add that my college has used it as a college-wide training and development tool for its administrators. As a result, we have changed the way we evaluate faculty and administration. More importantly, projects and promotions are now firmly grounded in this data. Don't walk, run to Alibris and order this book! Your life will change in less than30 minutes!
