Very Good in Very Good jacket. 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall. The Metropolitan offers the world's most complete survey of man's art, ranging over fifty centuries, to a huge and avid public--over six million yearly. Blue boards, black spine with gold-color lettering, 383 pp., photos, unclipped jacket. Light wear with very faint soiling on lower fore edge, no owner names or gift notes, clean text, tight binding, nice jacket with tiny tear at the top of the front flap.
An interesting account of the history of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is not a dry history but rather shows the personalities and gossip related to this great institution. It is so readable and interesting that is is hard to put down.
