Although lo-carb diets are no longer as "in" as they were several years ago, this out of print book continues to provide guidelines and great, quick, easy to make recipes. Use it to lose a few extra pounds, to change your lifestyle or to remember how to get back to healthy eating. For peri- and post- menapausal women this book is a must. If you're on a gluten-free diet, it naturally provides lots of menus and recipes that can be used or adapted. If you don't eat pork, substitute chicken or turkey. It is set up in a visually organized, appealing, user-friendly way with 2 week menus for each of the three low carb phases described. The only drawback, if it is one, is that the sweetener used is Splenda, which causes a reaction in some people. I've recommended this book to lots of people who also fell in love with it. Enjoy!
