This book is not for puritans or those opposed to graphics in writing. If you are looking for Jane Austin these are so not the books for you to read. I anxiously awaited the release of Rehvenge's story. He is one of my favorites in the series. If I could find a man like this-yeah utter happiness for me.
Yes the dialog is explicit. The sex is graphic. The story is not just about vampires it is about love, "human"interaction, tolerance and there are some strong women involved. The characters are strong yet each one is vulnerable but strive to make good choice just as we all should. Since I am no model of virtue and I live in the real world- I Love these Novels and each member and mate of the BDB have a place in my literature heart.

Sad to say
I have read & collected all the Black Dagger Brotherhood by MS Ward. This book could be a fantastic read if you could got through all the foul words.
For me it distracted from the story line & reduced the quality of a great story.
I was disappointed at the amount of filth distributed through the story line.
As the brothers would say - feel me!.
Publishers Weekly, 2009-03-16 Ward powers into hardcover with the tangled seventh title in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, picking up four months after the end of 2008's Lover Enshrined. Rehvenge, a "symphath" vampire who gets energy from manipulating others' emotions, is recruited by a group who want to displace vampire king Wrath, a gruff, determined vigilante. Rehvenge is also falling hard for vampire nurse Ehlena, who disdains his affections and focuses on caring for her ailing father. Ward easily juggles numerous personal and political plot lines, keeping the tension revved high while moving forward with subplots that have lingered for several books and will please longtime fans seeking resolution. New readers may be a little lost despite a helpful glossary, but the fast pace and cliffhanger ending will have fans wishing they could start the next book right away.
