Great old classic----my kids and grandkids loved it!

This book is a little treasure. I love all of Margaret Wise Brown's Books, but Good Night Moon and Little Fur Family are my favorites. Part of what makes this story so adorable are the illustrations. It is the story of a little family that sort of look like bears, but wear fur coats. The story is simplistic, but that is what makes it so relaxing to read to your child. It's one of those little books that you'll want to hang on to to enjoy again with your grandchildren.
Publishers Weekly, 2005-08-08 The 1946 title Little Fur Family by Margaret Wise Brown, illus. by Garth Williams, is now available in a hand-size board book format with a patch of brown fur on the cover. This may be a new format, but the rest remains the classic tale of a little brown bear who spends a day of discovery in the woods. (c) Copyright PWxyz, LLC. All rights reserved
Publishers Weekly, 2002-11-25 A handful of reissues have nostalgic appeal or, in some cases, an updated look. Margaret Wise Brown's 1946 classic returns as the Little Fur Family Deluxe Edition, illus. by Garth Williams. A furry patch on the cover invites youngsters to rub the bear cub star's belly; inside, Brown introduces readers to "a little fur family/ warm as toast/ smaller than most/ in little fur coats" and the "warm wooden tree" in which they live. A miniature edition-covered with faux fur and packaged in a recloseable box (the fur peeks through a die-cut opening)-is also available. (c) Copyright PWxyz, LLC. All rights reserved
