Good + in Good jacket. 8.5" 254 pages. "Robert Conquest here provides the first full account of the history and conditions of Kolma. His painstaking research included work as precise as a scrutiny of Lloyd's Register of Shipping (significant, as Kolma was supplied by sea) and as large as a synthesis of the seventeen main first-person accounts available." Text is clean and tight. White cloth with red and black lettering on its spine over black papered boards. Dust jacket is not price clipped but is rubbed with several small tears.
New in New- jacket. New vintage collector's copy, second printing, clothbound hardcover in new-dust jacket with light shelf wear, mild sunning and overall scuffing. Note that previous owner was a collector who carefully reinforced the dust jacket with what appears to be archival tape along the interior edges. The book itself is in pristine, clean, tight new unread condition.
