Good / Good Slipcase. 1976 Doubleday & Co., Inc. Boxed set of four trade paperbacks, with marble-pattern print in brown, red, and cream on all covers and on paper covering of slipcase. NOT Remaindered. NOT ex-library. Maps. Books are in excellent condition with only slight wrinkling at the heads of the spines of larger volumes. Spines NOT creased. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. A few pages each in vols 1-3 have a line or two underlined in pencil, or have a penciled bracket in the margin; less than 25 pages out of the total 2019 pages. Contents: Vol. 1: Arundel (c1930, 486 pages); Vol. 2, Rabble in Arms (c1933, 586 pages); Vol. 3: Oliver Wiswell (c1940, 836 pages); Vol. 4: Battle of Cowpens (c1956, 111 pages). 2019 total pages. Vol. 4 has a bumped corner. Paper-covered slipcase has edge wear and surface rubbing, and is split at one bottom edge. That split has been repaired with acid-free book tape to maintain structural integrity. There is also a partial split at one top edge of the slipcase; the corners are somewhat frayed. Good. Doubleday. 1976. Slipcase. Paperback, in Four Volumes. Condition: Good. All four volumes have clean bright covers with some signs of wear. Occasional mild creasing to covers. Spines of Volumes I-III show reading creases. All four Volumes have clean, and unmarked interiors. Slipcase has minor wear the edges. with some light rubbing, and fraying to the case's fore edge and some very minor rubbing to the rear corners. Overall a rather nice copy of this set. NO EXPEDITED SHIPPING.
