Topic is SIN
High rating for the seller but certainly NOT for the book!!! Very OLD book to illustrate adult topics of sin and how to avoid or repent about sin. It is obvious the author attempted to make it "child freindly" to hammer home sin is bad. But the stories may in fact either horrify kids or bore them to death. The cover picture is much cuter than any of the stories.
I did like the penciled in note above each chapter title giving the moral or topic about sin to be highlighted in the chapter. The handwriting looks just like my grandmother's!
I ordered this for a Sunday School camp with a safari theme - we decided to go with two Lynne Cherry stories instead. The Great Kapok Tree and the Shaman's Apprentice.
