Very Good in Very Good jacket. This is a pretty solid second printing with the fatal flaw of a four inch by one inch moisture stain along top edge of front jacket panel, also shows slightly to book. Top tips bumped, owner's name. Price clipped jacket has a half inch closed tear with associated scrunch near foot of spine at rear joint. (Probably does not look like any picture at left. )
Very close to fine in like neatly price-clipped dustjacket. With bright text throughout. Back flap indicates "0373" for March 1973. From a Vietnam veteran's private library. The text is highlighted here and there neatly, with a few pages pen bracket for emphasis on a particular paragraph or passage. None of the markings is offensive or outlandish. The jacket is quite handsome all around. O'Brien photograph on the back remains impressive and bright, as is the front cover. No tears. There is also a short word, faded, on the top of the block. The title is a first edition/third printing-1973.
