In this inspiring bestseller, the author of "When Bad Things Happen to Good People" puts human shortcomings in perspective and teaches us how we can learn to accept ourselves and others even when we and they are less than perfect. I have read several of Rabbi Kushners' books. This is one of the best. He takes a fresh look at the concept of shame and the "fall from grace." His ideas on Adam and Eve have truly changed my thinking and make more sense to me than any other theological texts I have read in while in seminary and since out. I believe that guilt and forgiveness are crucial areas for people to look at in their lives- The world would be a more loving place if all of us took these topics more seriously. Great book!
