Solid hard cover with illustrated paper covered boards and a black cloth spine, boards with rubbing and heavy wear to the corners which are worn thru to cardboard and a bit rounded, spine has had clear tape applied which holds on spine library stickers. Interior pages are mostly clean. Binding is tight. The end papers are illustrated, front free endpaper has pen marks. With a few other library marks.

A very nice copy, not ex-library, it tells the story of a young Amish girl and her life on a Pennsylvania farm. Front cover is slightly chipped at the hinge, stained at back hinge. Edges and corners of boards are lightly bumped or rubbed. Some pages show slight staining, foxing but are otherwise unmarked.
