Ms. Gittleman gives numerous ways in which to cut or eliminate salt from your everyday diet. Food, as we receive it now, has way too much salt content for our bodies to handle and therefore is not good for us. She shows numerous ways that salt can be cut or drastically cut back. Before I read her book, I had no idea that I ingested so much salt in a day's time. And I also thought that a little added salt was good for you. Not so, according to Ms. Gittleman. This book was easy to read---not bound up with technical language but written in such a way that all could understand. For a more healthful life, you too, should read her book. It just might prolong your life!
