Fine. Derrydale Press 1939, Copy #72 of a limited edition of 950 copies, 4to, 298 pages, illustrated in color and B & W by T.J. Harter, and from photographs. In green imitation snakeskin cover. For some reason, the gilt title and lettering on both the front cover and spine is totally missing. The previous owner had an attractive slipcase made for this book, with a paper label on its spine. This book appears to be in unread condition and there are no marks or inscriptions save for a small dealer's paper label on the lower corner of the rear pastedown. Slight wrinkling to tissue guard at frontis. Overall, a Fine copy save for the missing cover lettering.

A classic title and includes hunting mule deer, Whitetail deer, Desert Bighorn's, Colorado Bighorn's, antelope, elk, and a variety of birds.
