insightful bits and pieces for the woman following her spiritual path. sue monk kidd's writings create beautiful images of solitude, celebration, questioning, resting, dancing, laughing and other moments etched into one's soul. Kate Forbes rich voice mesmerizes the listener and pulls her into each moment. Picture yourself on a wide verandah somewhere in the south sharing a porch swing with a trusted friend. There is a small round table set with a pticher of iced tea and a plate of benne wafers. The livle oaks are standing sentinel ... and the only sound you hear is the creaking of the swing as it rocks you back and forth.
