This invitation to a journey by James Hollis is being used by myself and a group of fellow travelers as a study of applying Jungian theory and principles to growing in grace. It is simple, but not simplistic as he guides us through the steps of facing what we have done with our lives and how the last half can be enriched by coming to terms with what we have done and left undone. Then he points to ways we can change and enlarge our conciousness to find wholeness for our selves, forgiveness for our families and our own shortcomings and a richer life of the mind. There is no magic formula, no list of rules, but a concise discussion of techniques. It is helpful to be conversant with Junguian terminology. Intriguing and helpful, without being preachy. Defines the questions, but leaves the answers, if any, to the student.
