Hits a homerun with me.

by Lauren C on Jul 29, 2010

Edward Achorn hits a homerun with this novel. Mr. Achorn draws you in from page 1 and keeps you entertained until the final page. It is impeccably researched with vivid descriptions. Lots of good references to the period of history , which the book is written about. A superb novel about a local figure from my own hometown, which was a particular draw for me. I highly recommend this to any baseball enthusiast or history buff. You won't be dissapointed.
