illus. Near Fine/Near Fine. 126pp. Signed by the author (just with his initials and a sketch of an exclamation point, title page). NO INTERNATIONAL OR PRIORITY. Laid in are a flier for his book Visual Explanations", as well as a xerox of 2 sheets that look to be a handout for a series of lectures he did. Header on it is "Edward Tufte/An Education for Information Design...Presenting Data and Information " with dates and places for the course. One sheet lists suggested readings, ranging from his own books to Strunk and White, "A Pattern Language", and books by Richard Feynman, Paul Klee, Evelyn Waugh, Gore Vidal and Italo Calvino. The other lists Graphics Press pubs. While the 'signature' here is just the initials, we have other signed copies of his books that leave no doubt that it is Tufte who signed this.
