The amount of information that they cram into this book series is incredible. Their use of comparison between certain foods was really eye opening to me. For example, I had NO idea that the amount of saturated fat in a Twix was equivalent to the amount of saturated fat in ELEVEN strips of bacon! As a visual person, not only did I find the photography to be very helpful, but the explanations as to WHY certain foods are better than others just made what they were saying make complete sense. I have already lost 17 pounds by eating 1200 calories a day and following the book religiously. I have already recommended these books to all my friends and family. :)

This is a FUN book to look at
This is the first book I saw in this series of books and I LOVED it. Lots of great color pictures of foods we all know and love to order in chain restaurants as well as fast food places. I was shocked to see just how fattening some of the foods we think are 'healthy' really are. Every page is a full color picture of those foods with text boxes giving relevant info. Went through the whole book that a friend showed me and then ordered my own.
