Intrigued by the recent trend of scientists, journalists, philosophers, and teachers who have been ostracized and discredited for daring to suggest that humankind may be the product of intelligent design rather than a random fluke in the cosmic scheme of things, Ben Stein sets out on a journey to investigate the supposed persecution of the many by the select few. Stein asserts that in recent years, anyone who dares to question the idea that adaptation is responsible for the development of Earth's organisms is held to ridicule, and over the course of the film, he travels the globe to speak with the supporters of both theories, pondering the reasons why believing in a higher power has seemingly become a massive taboo in the eyes of educators and the media. Ben Stein never fails to make his point. You will not be disappointed by his intelligent way to keep your interest in what point he is making along with facts to support his subject.

the honesty is great
I bought more of these to share with others. The bias has delieberately been hidden for too long by the evolutionists. Truth is more important that being politically correct.
The scene with Richard Dawkins where he makes a fool out if himself is so good. I don't know how Ben kept from laughing out loud.

It was more of a documentary than movie. I was disappointed but someone else may like this type of movie.

Very well done. Intriguing and gets you to think. Sad as to where we have gone but good to know people are standing up.

Contains Info Others Won't Talk About
It's always good to see the OTHER side of issues, especially since the world is being run over by the Richard Dawkins train. Few people stand up and challenge his intolerance, hate speech, and his war against religion. This DVD is a pleasant and logical walk through thoughts and discussions which expose weaknesses and fallacies in Dawkins' arguments -- and much more. My personal conclusion was that Dawkins is mining tons of cash from humanists and philosophical naturalists. I hate being deceived and lied to and therefore really enjoyed the openness and the "new" information contained in this DVD. Yes, Richard Dawkins is preaching his own religion -- pure anti-religion filled with half-truths and deceit. And it's nice to view this DVD and learn that Dawkins is not the careful and truthful scholar which he carefully tries to portray. Someday I would like to see pics of Dawkins' yacht(s) and mansion(s) which were bought at the expense of real scholarly research and truth. I recommend this DVD even if you are a follower of Dawkins and other philosophical naturalists.
