After a diagnosis that left only medication adjustments to reduce angina this book was recommended as a possible solution. The program has worked for me. After being barely able to walk a few hundred feet without taking a nitro pill to reduce severe angina I have progressed to walking three miles with no angina. The program is not simple in that it may require a lifestyle change but considering my alternative I find the adjustments can be made and my results have been positive.

A blessing of a book
For anyone who really wants to become healthy and improve his/her life with better food choices, exercise that isn't grueling, this is a nugget of a book. I chose it for the ultimate purpose of weaning myself from prescription medication for hypertension and cholesterol issues. It is a mindful approach done in conjunction with health care professionals.

Reversing Heart Disease
My husband's cholesterol, triglycerides and A1C dropped into normal range within weeks of starting this diet. I highly recommend it.

Not the best.
Information based on Journal of American Medical Association. This diet is okay for the standard american diet eater. Still take some getting used too.
