Deep thoughts and feelings in this

by SanFranLucy on Feb 1, 2009

CRASH captured my interest from the first minute and didn't let it go. The separate stories all came together in the end and that was satisfying. I liked Sandra Bullock in this better than her other movies. And I like her in those movies. The cast comprised of Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon, Jennifer Esposito, Terrence Howard, Shaun Toub, Brendan Fraser were all very good. Director Paul Haggis did an exceptional job from the great script by himself and Robert Moresco

This movie was one I rented because of the diverse cast, and then had to immediately buy it! An excellent find. I found this movie so completely explored the many kinds of racism that can exist within one city, and also explored human goodness. One scene had my eighteen year old son and I almost in tears; it was just that wonderful. (It's not one I'd recommend to children under 16, because there are adult themes.) If you like to watch a movie and then sit back in wonder, then this is an excellent choice. It really made me think. I had to have my best friends watch it so we could talk about it. It's not science fiction like the Matrix was, but when that movie came out it was as unique as this one. Enjoy! Tell everyone you know!
