This is a truly informative and exciting book even though the contents are dated. I had no idea what an exciting field of research this is and lament those days when dedicated scientists such as Bruno laid the foundation of all of astrophysics and high energy physics. If only less money is wasted these days building useless accelerators and more cosmic ray research, our knowledge would have advacecd a lot more.
