Color pictorial front board with red and black lettering. Extremely hard-to-find! 63 color illustrated pages! "In rhyming words and easy vocabulary, Dr. Seuss shows the many different homes, customs and games around the world. But no matter how differently children may live and dress, he emphasizes the fact that 'they're all alike when a friend asks you in.'...."
Erdoes, Richard. Near Very Good in Good + jacket. First edition, hardcover, has previous owner's name to bottom edge of text block, light bumps with slight fraying to corners of front cover, very light wear to edges, and some sparse foxing to text block, otherwise a solid Near VG copy in Good+ dustjacket which has bumps with small chips to spine ends and corners, closed tears to edges with one tear extending from left side of base of spine to a couple inches onto front panel, and creasing to spine, edges, and folds.
