Very Good. Undated, but "1903" lightly penciled on title page. A handsome copy which appears to have been quite nicely re-bound in early 1900's. Brown, quarter leather binding over decorated boards. All edges gilt. Gilt titling and raised bands on spine. Very Good. Modest wear at corner tips and spine-ends. Light foxing to blank endpages, but contents and illustrations very clean and bright. Includes "Sketches of Young Gentlemen", "The Mudfrog Papers", and other short stories and prefaces. No ownership marks.
