Very Good in Very Good jacket. Hardback. 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall. Illstd with b&w photos and map. Tight and square, clean boards, light foxing in edges, faint toning in endpapers. Dust jacket is unclipped, rubbed at corners, slight loss at spine ends, protected in a fitted clear film sleeve.

SIGNED and inscribed on front endpaper by the Author: "To Judy, who now appreciates other foods, including elephant meals, Kevin Duffy, Reseda, Aug 12, '78. " The book is an authentic account of how in Northern Rhodesia, a black hunter armed with an ancient muzzle-loader tracked down a bull elephant. Tight binding, clean text. There is a light stain (from the elephant meal? ) to the corner of top and front edges, but text is not affected. Slightly rubbed dustjacket shows a touch of light shelf wear, with two minor tears to top at rear, otherwise fine. Not price clipped. Scarce! Protected in a new Mylar cover.
