Good. Book A study of the animals in Greek mythology. With a frontispiece. Limited to five hundred copies, of which this is number 485, and signed by the author. Condition: In a cloth binding. Externally, sound, though with some bumping and a few marks. Some wear to the extremities also. Internally fimly bound. Pages are bright, with just a few instances of foxing. Overall: GOOD.
VG+ in VG jacket. Housed in a dustwrapper that is tape repaired on verso, but shows well in the dustwrapper protector. The first British edition of this work by the noted British author. Especially scarce in the dustwrapper.
Top edge is a bit soiled, else a fine, bright copy in very good dust jacket. The fragile blue printed dust jacket is moderately browned on spine, fore-edge fold (at front flap) has started to separate, with few nicked tears, else quite crisp and bright. DOUGLAS, Norman.
