Great book for honing your baking skills
I just received this book, but it's very much into analyzing recipes and figuring out what makes them tick. I look forward to learning about how ingredients interact with each other as well as how to analyze recipes I come across to determine whether or not they're worth the trouble. I'd like to become a better baker, maybe even branch off on my own someday by coming up with my own recipes. I wouldn't really say that this is a beginner's cookbook, but I'm not sure if a beginner would ever mistake it for one given the title.
