This is a wonderful, informative book full of fine photographs. This original hardcover edition (1975) comprises of essays written by the space pioneers of NASA--managers, directors, astronauts, etc.--not long after the last Apollo mission. The essays tell of all the decisions and events that made the Apollo program the extraordinary achievement that it was (and still is). Even if you are not a space buff, you will appreciate the captivating stories told here. If you are a space buff, you will not be disappointed.
